Microsoft Datacentre Security & Management Update – October

Important news on the Forefront side, Microsoft has announced that Update 1 for Forefront Unified Access Gateway 2010 Service Pack 1 was released on the 11^th October, this includes support for Dynamics CRM 2011, Microsoft Lync 2010 web services and Office Web Apps with SharePoint 2010. Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 Service Pack 2 was also announced on the same day. I attended the Convergence South Summit last week where the main topic of discussion was Microsoft Lync. One of the key design requirements, not just for Lync but any published service, is the certificate infrastructure.
