Continued investment delivers healthy growth for Computer 2000 in Ireland

Since the beginning of the year, Computer 2000 has made a number of strategic investments in its operations serving Irish resellers, boosting both its internal and field-based teams, extending vendor agreements, bringing more services and credit to the market. It has already run one SME Training Weekend has already been run in Ireland, and another is due to take place soon. It also took a group of Irish resellers on a tour of its Magna Park warehousing and distribution facility in the English Midlands recently and sent its HP Server and Storage team on a week-long visiting tour of the country.

As a result of all this continuing investment, Computer 2000 is working with an increasing number of Irish resellers on a regular basis, said Ben Kempster, General Manager for Ireland. “We’re making great strides in Ireland with key vendors and working with a growing number of resellers. More resellers starting to see and to understand what we are capable of doing, that we can and do deliver on our promises, and that we can provide a consistent and reliable service.”

Computer 2000 is able to provide next working day delivery from its Magna Park facility to every corner of Ireland on all orders placed before 4.00pm. The 500,000 square foot location is about the size of or about 10 football pitches and capable of holding up to four million stock items at any time. It ships 5000 orders every day with 99.9 percent accuracy.
