Specialist services receive a warm welcome
The specialist print services that we have recently made available on HP, Samsung and Lexmark ranges have been extremely well-received and a number of promising projects have already come to light, with many more in prospect. On higher-end models from HP, Samsung and Lexmark, we are now offering special delivery and set-up services, giving you the chance to offer a more comprehensive and complete service to customers that have very significant everyday duty cycles and print requirements.
Essentially, this service is addressing the opportunity in the office photocopier- replacement market. You can offer high duty cycle printers and MFPs on lease plans, which we can tell you all about and provide for you, and offer all the added-value services that are needed with such a device – specialist transportation and installation, maintenance and management. That means you can not only offer a more complete service for your customers, you can also generate incremental revenue streams and make more profit – which is something that’s always welcome.
If you would like to know more about this service, please contact the specialist Imaging, Print and Supplies team on 0871 880 3200.

Specialist print services now available on HP, Samsung and Lexmark ranges
Computer 2000 can now offer resellers special delivery and set-up services on high-end models from HP, Samsung and Lexmark. We have offered this service on Xerox for some time now – and it has been extremely popular and successful. Now that it is available on these additional best-selling lines, the opportunities for resellers to provide an improved and expanded service to customers and make additional margins have been massively expanded. Selling lease plans for print devices that are designed to support very high duty cycles and provide all kinds of functionality and options can be lucrative and generate good income for resellers. Often, these devices are being used to replace the old office photocopier, scanner, fax and shared laser printer with a single device that provides all of these functions and a range of options that will suit all users. They are often quite complex devices and assembling them and making them work often requires some expertise and/or experience. Transporting them can also be complicated as they are often hefty and also fragile; specialist transport and stair-lifting equipment may be required.
Computer 2000’s new services for HP, Samsung and Lexmark printers, enables you to offer a complete and professional delivery service to customers. It can easily be added to your roster as an additional chargeable service, or part of your added-value proposition. Once the appropriate forms are completed, we will arrange for the delivery, set-up and testing to be carried out. All that then needs to be done is for the printer to be connected to the network or server and for drivers and software to be installed – so there is still plenty of scope for your own team to add more value to the sale.
